Daniel is a board-certified PMHNP (Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner) in OH and RI. His multistate compact RN license allows him to consult with and provide case management in the following states and territories (shown in purple).  Ohio and Rhode Island limit NP prescriptive authority, and Daniel does not currently prescribe scheduled medications, such as stimulants for ADHD or specific sedating medications for anxiety or sleep.

Nursing is an art: and if it is to be made an art,

it requires an exclusive devotion

as hard a preparation,

any painter’s or sculptor’s work;

for what is the having to do

with dead canvas or dead marble,

compared with having to do

with the living body,

the temple of [the] spirit?

It is one of the Fine Arts:

I had almost said,

the finest of Fine Arts.

Offered services

Nurse Daniel's services are private-pay to ensure the highest level of confidentiality between provider and client.  This allows me to diagnose and treat conditions with maximum confidentiality.

My computerized records do not interface with other systems, and protecting your health data is a very high priority.  In the USA, in 2026, it can be hard to weigh the risks and benefits of pursuing a diagnosis or specific treatment.  Living in the USA in 2025 can feel uncertain about the benefits (or risks) of pursuing a diagnosis or treatment.  All potential clients are encouraged to book a brief virtual consultation call at no cost to learn more about their options and determine the right path for them.

Transgender Health

As a transgender provider I recognize that gender identity influences how we interact with the world, however not all transgender/GNC clients may need to see a "gender therapist"

Disability health

As a disabled provider I am able to provide client-centered care in an understanding setting without judgement.

Medication Management

Psychiatric medication may make the difference between stability and instability.  We can discuss what options may help you best.
